Strip out

Background

Lancebox Ltd carried out the strip out of foyers and shops located within Bracknell Shopping Centre. The centre was kept open throughout meaning works had to take place in a controlled and methodical manner, this included overnight works taking place in specific areas, in order for them to be reinstated and protected for the next day.

Scope of works

• Strip out of foyers and shops back to a shell, approx.. 2500m²

• Removal of overhead lighting and escalators including within the shops

• Removal of 3500m² terrazzo tilling and bedding to all of the mall areas on the ground and first floors

• Diamond chasing and sawing, with areas of mezzanine cut back where necessary

• Lancebox also carried out the new permanent concrete infills to the floors
